Its a whole new Ballgame!

Season 5! Wow Seaon 4 was very exciting and I feel Season 5 will be just as good. I welcome all you guys back to the wonderful GUGFL!

Great Season BigDave72 had last year. But it will be very hard to repeat. It always is in the GUGFL.

So strap those cleats on and lets get it on! Its going to be one heck of a ride!

Almost Done and whats with the Texans?

Man has this season gone very smooth or what? We are almost done and it looks like most all of the games will be done on time. I know there are a few issues but they have been communicated with me.

But the main story is everyone seems to be able to upset anyone this year. I mean who knew the Saints would come in after getting their 360 back and and 1-4 record at the time come in and beat the previously unbeaten Ravens? Or the Cheifs beating the Dolphins. Which really brings me to my biggest surpprise. The Texans.

Last years Superbowl participant started the season out 0-2 and looked as if the Superbowl hangover was taking full effect. However something clicked and has anyone noticed that Nosice (funny sounding huh) has rattled off 7 straight wins! I know I have, and to add to the surprises was to see the Texans even play the unbeaten Bears in their last game of the regular season and hand them their first loss and their chance to have an undefeated regular season record.

Thanks guys as this was a fun season so far and is only gonna get better as we move into the next couple of weeks and into the playoffs. Oh and it appears the Godfather Division has fallen off a slight bit and I have to give the nod to the Space invaders division as the best overall in the GUGFL right now.

Godfather rules the league!

Welcome everyone I finally had a chance to change this blog over so we could have some front page news! The Old Blog got lost in the conversion. Any who! I thought I would recap some of the early action in week so far.

The Godfather Division has been pulling upsets all week, and they are the most impressive division so far! The Zelda Division has shown some strength as well with a 3-2 record so far. The Space Invaders are an even 2-2 right now and the poor ole Frogger division is licking their early wounds taken from the Godfather vision with an 0-3 start. Perhaps the Saints and Colts will prevail and get some wins in their division. One things for certain things are wide open for those 2 teams for the early divisional lead. We all know how this comes down to a game at the end!

All I know is that this league started out with some major upsets and I am glad I wasn't a part of them like I was last year when I lost my first game of the year to a non-playoff team the Redskins! Everyone knows I went on to the GUFL Superbowl and if nothing else shows not to worry about your early losses. Its how you learn and finish that counts.

So if you started out slow no worries mate! Everyone can jump right back in the drivers seat with a little practice and game planning.
